ADSU Announces Easter Break and Resumption Dates for 2025/2026 Academic Session

Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, has released details on the Easter public holidays and resumption schedule for staff and students in April 2026 as part of its approved 2025/2026 academic calendar.

The Senate of the university approved the calendar at its 132nd meeting held in October 2025. Students and staff are expected to take note of the dates and comply strictly.

  Easter Break Period

The university has declared a one-week Easter Break from Thursday, 2nd April 2026 to Tuesday, 7th April 2026

This break coincides with the public holidays for Good Friday (April 3, 2026) and Easter Monday (April 6, 2026). No academic activities will hold during this period.

  Resumption After Easter

– Lectures resume* on Wednesday, 8th April 2026* for both staff and students.

– This resumption applies to the continuation of the ongoing semester.

The Easter break comes immediately after the first semester CBT examinations, which ran from 24th March to 1st April 2026.
