AE-FUNAI VC Condoles with Former Ebonyi Deputy Governor Eric Kelechi Igwe Over Father’s Death

The Vice-Chancellor of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo, Daniel Nwachukwu, led members of the university management to condole with the immediate past Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Eric Kelechi Igwe, over the death of his father, Eze Francis Igwe, Agom Ugbala II of Ndufu-Alike.

The visit was described as a show of solidarity by the university leadership with the family during their period of mourning.

Speaking during the visit, Professor Nwachukwu conveyed the condolences of the university’s management, staff, and students, describing the passing of the traditional ruler as a painful loss. He prayed for the peaceful repose of the late monarch and for strength for the family.

Responding, Barr. Igwe thanked the Vice-Chancellor and the university management for the visit, describing it as a comforting gesture. He also appreciated the prayers and support from the university community during the difficult period.
