JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Mock Results – Here’s How to Check Yours
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock test. The mock examination was held on Saturday, 28th March 2026, and the results became available on Tuesday, 31st March 2026, as earlier indicated by the board.
JAMB’s spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, confirmed the release in a statement issued on Tuesday. He explained that the mock exercise was designed to help candidates get used to the computer-based testing format ahead of the main UTME, which is scheduled to begin on Thursday, 16th April 2026.

How to Check Your JAMB Mock Result
Checking your result is simple and can be done directly on your phone via SMS. Here are the steps:
:Using the same phone number (SIM) you used during JAMB registration, open your messaging app.
:Type *MOCKRESULT*(in capital letters, with no space).
Send the message to 55019 or 66019.
You will receive a reply shortly with your score, provided you sat for the mock exam.
Candidates are advised to have at least ₦50 airtime on the line, as the service attracts a small charge. JAMB warned that results will only be sent to the phone number linked to your registration.
If you get a message saying “You did not sit for the Mock Examination,” it simply means your record shows you did not participate or your details were not captured during the exercise.
Important Warnings from JAMB
The board has strongly warned candidates against any form of score fraud or manipulation. JAMB emphasised that the mock result is only for practice and familiarisation. It does not count towards the main UTME admission process.
Some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres were delisted due to technical issues during the mock, and JAMB urged candidates to take note of approved centres for the main examination.
What Next?
The main 2026 UTME is set to hold from 16th to 25th April 2026. Candidates are encouraged to use their mock performance to identify weak areas and prepare better. Those who scored low should not be discouraged — the mock is simply a rehearsal.
JAMB advised all candidates to print their main examination slips when available and double-check their exam date, time, and venue.
