Nigerian billionaire businessman and President of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, has spoken about having a son and his three daughters during a recent interview.The billionaire was asked about the issue of having a male child and the continuation of the family name.Speaking during the interview, Dangote said:”Sometimes,if God doesn’t give you something, don’t push it. You can pray for God to give you a son , but that son might be the one to bring down the name of the family.”Dangote also spoke about his three daughters, who are Mariya, Halima and Fatima.He further said:”i don’t think a son would have done better than the 3 daughters I have”Dangote’s comments came during a discussion that also touched on his family, his daughters and the future of the business empire he has built.His three daughters have been associated with different roles and responsibilities within the Dangote business empire, with their involvement also featuring in conversations surrounding the future of the family business.The comments have continued to attract attention following the interview, particularly because of Dangote’s remarks about having a son and his three daughters.
