Big Brother Naija Season 11 has taken a dramatic turn after housemate Victor Ikpe, popularly known as Keivo, was disqualified from the “Show Ya Sef” season following a physical altercation with fellow housemate Tram.
The decision was announced by Big Brother on Tuesday, September 29, after the confrontation, which occurred during the final week of the reality show.
What began as a disagreement between the two housemates escalated into a physical confrontation. Reports indicate that the dispute started over a black shirt that Tram accused Keivo of taking. Keivo denied the accusation, but tensions continued to rise before the disagreement turned physical.
Following the incident, viewers noticed that Keivo’s name had disappeared from the show’s official voting platform, triggering widespread speculation about his status in the competition.
Big Brother subsequently addressed the housemates and showed them footage of the incident before announcing Keivo’s removal.
“Keivo, as the perpetrator, has been removed from the house. He is therefore disqualified from the house,” Big Brother announced.
Big Brother also used the moment to issue a broader warning to the remaining housemates, stressing that disagreements inside the house must not escalate into violence.
“No disagreement, accusation or personal grievance justifies violence,” Big Brother said, adding emphatically that “violence is never an option.”
A COSTLY EXIT
Keivo’s disqualification comes at a particularly crucial stage of the competition, with the season approaching its finale.
His sudden departure means he will no longer compete for the show’s ₦160 million grand prize, while the remaining housemates continue their pursuit of the Season 11 crown. Africa Magic says the finale is scheduled for October 4.
The decision has also generated significant discussion among BBNaija viewers, with reactions divided across social media. While some viewers have supported Keivo’s disqualification because of the physical confrontation, others have questioned whether Tram should also face disciplinary action.
For Keivo, what had been a race toward the BBNaija finale has instead ended abruptly following one heated confrontation.
As the remaining housemates head toward the final stage of the competition, the incident has once again placed the show’s rules on physical conduct and the consequences of crossing those boundaries firmly in the spotlight.
