Nigerian music star Asake has recorded another major milestone on Spotify as his album Lungu Boy surpasses Wizkid’s Morayo in total streams.According to the latest figures shared by Album Talks, Lungu Boy has now amassed 550.4 million streams, edging past Morayo, which currently sits at 550.3 million streams.The achievement makes Lungu Boy the 16th most-streamed Nigerian project on Spotify and the third most-streamed Nigerian project released in 2024.Only Ayra Starr’s TYIT21, with over 1.4 billion streams, and Tems’ Born in the Wild, with over 992 million streams, rank ahead of it among Nigerian projects released that year.Released in 2024, Lungu Boy continues to demonstrate Asake’s strong streaming power and the lasting appeal of his music among listeners globally.
