Final Call for JAMB Direct Entry Registration as Portal Shuts Today

If you are planning to secure your university admission through Direct Entry (DE) for the 2026 session, your window of opportunity closes at midnight. Today, Saturday, April 25, 2026, marks the final deadline for the purchase of e-PINs and the completion of registration across the country.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has maintained a firm stance on this date, reminding candidates that the exercise is restricted to JAMB State and Zonal offices. Unlike the regular UTME, you cannot register for Direct Entry at private CBT centres.

What you need to do before the deadline:

e-PIN Purchase: Ensure your e-PIN is generated and paid for before the end of business hours today.

Verification: Have your A-Level results, O-Level certificates, and relevant diploma or degree credentials ready for physical verification at the JAMB office.

The Cost: The registration fee remains ₦5,700.

JAMB has not indicated any plans for an extension, citing the need to stay on track with the national admission calendar. If you haven’t captured your biometrics or completed your profile, you have only a few hours left to avoid missing out on this year’s admission cycle.
