The university management has officially announced the commencement of the online registration for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise.

 Key Dates to Remember

Registration Commences: Monday, 25th May, 2026

Registration Closes: Tuesday, 30th June, 2026

JAMB Change of Institution Deadline: Tuesday, 30th June, 2026

CRITICAL NOTE: The screening mode for this session will be through an internal screening of candidates’ results (No physical exam). Therefore, all candidates MUST upload their O’Level or A-Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before June 30, 2026. Failure to do so means your application will not be processed.

 Important Admission Requirements

Before you click that apply button, make sure you meet these strict compliance standards:

First Choice Candidates: You must have chosen AE-FUNAI as your first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and scored at least the minimum required mark for your chosen course.

Change of Institution: If AE-FUNAI wasn’t your first choice but you want to switch, you must effect a Change of Institution to AE-FUNAI on the JAMB Portal on or before Tuesday, 30th June, 2026. This applies to both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates.

The One-Sitting Rule: Candidates applying for Medicine and Surgery, Law, Nursing Science, and Medical Laboratory Science must have obtained their O’Level results in one sitting only.

Honesty Check: Ensure all data provided is accurate. Any false information discovered at any stage of the screening or admission process will result in automatic disqualification.

Step-by-Step Registration Procedure

The screening processing fee is N2,000 only. Follow these steps to register:

Visit the official university website: www.funai.edu.ng

Navigate to the ADMISSIONS tab at the top menu and click on Apply Now.

Input your JAMB Registration Number to validate your profile.

Enter a valid email address and an accessible phone number (essential for fast communication).

Verify your email using the OTP sent to your inbox.

Make a transfer of the complete processing fee (N2,000) to the provided account number.

Click “I have made payment” after the transfer to unlock the registration forms.

Complete your profile details and check your email to confirm your registration acknowledgement.
