Institutional Eligibility and Requirements to Purchase 2026 2027 Post UTME Screening Forms for All Nigerian Universities

Aspiring candidates can now definitively determine their eligibility following the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) 2026 Policy Meeting held on Monday, May 11, 2026. The meeting, chaired by the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, established the Minimum Admissible Scores and critical guidelines that every candidate must meet to be considered for admission into any Nigerian university, polytechnic, or college of health sciences.

Core Eligibility Criteria for Post-UTME Registration

To qualify for the purchase of a Post-UTME screening form, candidates must satisfy the following national and institutional requirements:

 Minimum UTME Score: You must have scored at least 150 for university admission or 100 for polytechnics and monotechnics.

 Institutional Variation: While 150 is the national minimum, top federal universities often set higher benchmarks; for example, UNILAG, UI, and UNIBEN typically require a minimum of 200 for all courses.

 First Choice Requirement: Most institutions strictly limit Post-UTME sales to candidates who selected them as their First Choice. If you did not, you must perform a JAMB Change of Institution before the school’s screening portal closes.

 Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 16 years old to be eligible for admission.

 O’Level Upload: Your WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results must be successfully uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal. Universities are prohibited from admitting candidates whose O’Level data is missing from the central system.
