PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS UNABLE TO APPLY FOR AEFUNAI 100L-LEVEL LAW PROGRAMME AMID CLE SUSPENSION
Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike (AEFUNAI) has not admitted 100-level students into its Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) programme as of February 2026.
According to reports from prospective applicants, attempts to register for the programme this year have been unsuccessful. Sources indicate that multiple aspirants experienced difficulties completing the application process.
The restriction is linked to a regulatory suspension by the Council of Legal Education (CLE), which led the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to withhold admissions into the law programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The law faculty will be eligible to resume admissions once the CLE formally confirms that the university meets all professional and infrastructural requirements.
