UNILAG Direct Entry Registration Ends September 22 as Applicants Face Final Deadline

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has reminded prospective Direct Entry candidates that registration for the 2026/2027 academic session will close on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. The university announced that online registration for Direct Entry admission into its undergraduate programmes began on Wednesday, September 9, and will end on September 22. The deadline means eligible candidates who are yet to complete their applications have only a short window remaining to register and submit their details through the university’s application portal. According to UNILAG, candidates must have selected the university as their first choice in the 2026/2027 JAMB Direct Entry application. Applicants are also required to have at least five relevant O’Level credit passes at one sitting, including English Language and Mathematics. Candidates must meet the university’s age requirement and ensure that their personal information is consistent across their academic documents and application records. The Direct Entry application fee is ₦3,500. Eligible applicants are required to begin the process through the UNILAG application portal, select the undergraduate application option and log in using their Direct Entry JAMB registration details. Applicants must generate their payment advice, make payment, return to the portal and complete the application. They are also required to upload relevant academic qualifications and results before reviewing and submitting the application. UNILAG lists several qualifications that may be relevant for Direct Entry applicants, including First Degree, HND, OND, NCE, JUPEB, Cambridge A-Level and other recognised qualifications specified by the university. Candidates are advised to upload the appropriate credentials for their Direct Entry application and carefully check all information before submission. With the registration window closing on Tuesday, September 22, prospective candidates who have not completed the process are being urged to do so before the deadline. UNILAG has warned that candidates who fail to participate in the required registration process will not be considered for admission.
