The admission update was published on Friday, September 18, 2026, with the list of successful candidates made available through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Candidates who participated in the university’s 2026/2027 admission screening exercise are therefore advised to log into their JAMB profiles and check their admission status.
Candidates can check their admission status by following these steps:
1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
2. Log in with the email address and password linked to their JAMB profile.
3. Select Check Admission Status.
4. Click on Access My CAPS.
5. Select Admission Status to view the decision.
6. Candidates who receive an admission offer should follow the instructions to accept the admission.
The JAMB CAPS platform is currently processing 2026/2027 admissions, with candidates able to monitor and accept admission offers through the system. Candidates whose status has not changed should not immediately conclude that they have lost their opportunity. Admission processing can take place in batches, and candidates are encouraged to continue checking their JAMB CAPS and official university information channels for further updates. Those who receive admission should also ensure that they complete any required registration and acceptance procedures within the stipulated period.
