OAU Extends 2026/2027 Post-UTME Registration Deadline to September 23

Prospective students of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, have been given additional time to complete their registration for the institution’s 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise. The university has extended the final registration deadline to Wednesday, September 23, 2026. OAU also announced that its physical Post-UTME screening exercise, originally scheduled for an earlier date, has been moved to Friday, September 25 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Candidates who have completed their registration can check their assigned screening date and time through the university’s screening portal. The institution said candidates should use their JAMB registration numbers and the passwords created during registration to access their profiles. The extension provides another opportunity for eligible candidates who have not completed the process to do so before the new deadline. OAU has also warned prospective students to rely on the university’s official channels for information concerning the exercise. Candidates are expected to appear physically for the screening exercise according to the date and time assigned to them. The university has further cautioned applicants against patronising individuals or agents claiming to have special connections with the institution or promising to secure admission. With the new registration deadline approaching, prospective candidates who intend to participate in the screening are advised to complete their applications before the September 23 cut-off. The university’s official announcement remains the reference point for any subsequent changes to the screening arrangements.
