EBSU 2026 Post-UTME Registration Deadline & Cut-off Mark
Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki, has officially opened its registration portal for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME admission screening exercise. The screening process is mandatory for candidates who selected EBSU as their first-choice institution and meet the approved UTME requirements for admission consideration.
Candidates who are eligible can now proceed with online registration through the university’s screening portal.
Registration Dates and Deadline
EBSU announced that the registration portal opened on May 22, 2026.
The application portal is scheduled to close on June 22, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete their registration and upload all required documents before the deadline.
EBSU 2026 Cut-Off Mark
The university approved a general minimum UTME score of 150 for candidates seeking admission into undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
However, admission into some competitive departments may require higher scores depending on the number of applicants and departmental admission quotas.
Screening Method for 2026 Admission
EBSU stated that the screening exercise will be conducted online.
The university will assess candidates using an aggregate system that combines:
UTME performance,
and O’Level grades obtained in relevant subjects.
Candidates are therefore advised to ensure that all academic records submitted during registration are accurate and properly uploaded.
O’Level Upload Requirement
Applicants must upload their O’Level results, including WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results, during the Post-UTME registration process.
Candidates are also expected to ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) through an accredited CBT centre.
According to the admission guidelines, candidates whose results are not available on JAMB CAPS may experience delays or challenges during admission processing.
Important Instructions for Applicants
Candidates should ensure that:
their personal details match their JAMB records,
their active phone number and email remain accessible,
and all uploaded documents are clear and correctly submitted.
Applicants are also advised to monitor official EBSU admission updates regularly for further announcements regarding screening and admission lists.
