Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems has won the Best Female West Africa award at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA).The awards ceremony was held on September 12, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, with artistes from across Africa and the diaspora recognised across 41 categories.Tems emerged as the winner of the Best Female West Africa category, adding another international recognition to her career.She was nominated alongside Ayra Starr, Tiwa Savage, Teni, Josey, Moliy, Viviane Chidid, Hadzi Vodushi and other artistes in the category.Tems was among several Nigerian artistes who received honours at the 2026 AFRIMMA ceremony.Other Nigerian winners included Davido, who won Album of the Year for 5ive, Ruger, who won Best Male West Africa, Phyno, who won Best Male Rap Act, Fola, who was named Best Newcomer, and Mercy Chinwo, who won Best Gospel.The 2026 AFRIMMA edition marked the return of the awards after a two-year break and also featured a music festival in Dallas.#Tems #AFRIMMA2026 #Afrobeats #EntertainmentNews #NigeriaEntertainment #XanderXO
