Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido is set to bring his music home in a major way after announcing a three-night concert residency at the National Theatre in Lagos. The singer announced that his upcoming “Oriadè: The Residency” will take place from December 17 to 19, 2026, giving fans three consecutive nights of live performances. Davido made the announcement on social media, describing the residency as a homecoming celebration marking 15 years of his career in the music industry. The concert will reportedly feature songs from his latest album, Oriadè, alongside selections from his previous projects. The announcement has already generated excitement among Nigerian music fans, particularly because the residency is expected to be a major homecoming moment for one of Afrobeats’ biggest international stars. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on September 25, while members of Davido’s 30BG community are expected to receive early access to the presale. The December residency is shaping up to be one of the major entertainment events on Lagos’ end-of-year calendar.
