Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has demanded DNA tests for the two children he shares with actress and singer Ashabi Simple. The singer made the demand amid an ongoing dispute surrounding the welfare and financial support of the children. In a social media post, Portable said he wanted DNA tests carried out before taking responsibility for the children, claiming that he did not trust their mother. The singer also reportedly questioned the paternity of the children in a voice note circulating online and insisted that the children should undergo testing at a hospital. The development has added another chapter to the public dispute between Portable and Ashabi, with the singer’s demand attracting significant attention across social media. The paternity claims remain allegations made by Portable, and the reported DNA tests would be required to establish biological paternity.
