University of Abuja Business School Inducts 280 Professionals into Global MBA and DBA Programmes

The University of Abuja Business School (UABS) officially matriculated 280 new students today, Saturday, April 25, 2026, marking a major academic milestone at its Kado Campus. The induction ceremony welcomed a new cohort of industry leaders into the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and Executive MBA (EMBA) programmes, alongside the Regular MBA streams for the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 academic sessions.

Addressing the matriculants, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, emphasized that the programme is designed to sharpen the capacity of professionals for the high-stakes demands of modern business and public policy. He urged the new students to leverage their time in the school to prepare for roles in institutional leadership and entrepreneurship, stressing that national development depends on the quality of its management experts.

The Director of the Business School, Professor Munirat Yusuf-Habeeb, also spoke at the event, reminding the students that professional success is built on a foundation of integrity. She charged the 280 matriculants to mirror the values of honesty and diligence, ensuring that their conduct remains as excellent as their academic pursuits. As these professionals begin their journey, the ceremony reinforces the University of Abuja’s position as a hub for advanced managerial training in Nigeria’s capital.
