11 Universities That Have Released 2026/2027 Admission List

The wait is over for thousands of UTME and Direct Entry candidates. Several universities have started releasing admission lists for the 2026/2027 academic session. If you sat for JAMB and Post UTME this year, you need to check JAMB CAPS and your school portal now. Admission is being uploaded in batches. According to the latest updates, these 11 schools have released their admission lists:
1. Lagos State University – LASU
Over 84,000 applications received for 2026. Merit list out.
2. Ignatius Ajuru University of Education – IAUE
First batch admission list released on school portal and JAMB CAPS.
3. University of Delta – UNIDEL
Merit admission list now available.
4. Adeleke University
Private university. Admission list out for 2026/2027.
5. University of Benin – UNIBEN
First batch admission list released. Check CAPS.
6. Ebonyi State University – EBSU
Admission ongoing in batches. Cut-off mark: 150.
7. Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila
Merit list released for 2026/2027 session.
8. Nnamdi Azikiwe University – UNIZIK
Admission list out. Candidates advised to accept on CAPS.
9. Kwara State University – KWASU
First batch admission list published.
10. Sa’adu Zungur University – SAZU
_Only school with both Merit and Second Batch list out already._
11. Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology – OAUSTECH
Admission list released on JAMB CAPS.
1. Go to `portal.jamb.gov.ng`
2. Login with your JAMB email and password
3. Click “Check Admission Status” → “Access my CAPS”
4. If admitted, click “ACCEPT”. If not, check back every 2-3 days
Visit your school’s admission portal and enter your JAMB Reg Number.
Note: “Admission in Progress” means you’re still being considered.
What To Do After Seeing Your Name?
1. Accept admission on JAMB CAPS immediately
2. Print JAMB Admission Letter
3. Pay acceptance fee on school portal
4. Upload O’Level to JAMB portal
5. Begin clearance before the deadline
Admission is still ongoing. More universities are expected to release their lists as they complete screening. Schools like UNILAG are currently doing DE registration from Sept 9 – Sept 22, 2026.
