Samsung is expanding the international reach of creator-led television content as its free streaming service, Samsung TV Plus, adds new channels across several countries. The company announced the expansion on September 28, 2026, saying new creator-led channels are being introduced across markets including the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines. Existing creator programming is also being expanded to Brazil and Mexico. The new content covers areas ranging from lifestyle and food to sports, news, science and entertainment. In the United Kingdom, Samsung TV Plus has launched three creator-led channels in partnership with 208 Studios. They include Happy Place, featuring content from Fearne Cotton’s podcast, Golf Life, which combines golf and comedy, and JOE Media, a news and entertainment brand. In Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines, the service is introducing Luke Nguyen’s World, a channel centred on food, culture and travel. Meanwhile, viewers in Brazil and Mexico can access Mark Rober TV, a dedicated science and engineering channel featuring content from former NASA engineer and creator Mark Rober. Samsung says the expansion reflects the growing importance of the global creator economy and the changing relationship between social-media personalities and traditional television. The company also says Samsung TV Plus has more than 100 million monthly active users worldwide. The development highlights how creators are increasingly moving beyond conventional social-media platforms and into dedicated television and streaming environments. For viewers, the expansion means more creator-focused programming can be accessed through television without requiring a traditional paid subscription to the service. As streaming platforms continue competing for audiences, creator-led programming is becoming an increasingly visible part of the global entertainment industry.
